In January 2016, Townsville Ambassadors Trevor and Tracey Rethamel had the opportunity to share a personal story of how childhood cancer turned their lives upside down. Today, following on from the presentation of their journey and raising awareness for Childhood Cancer Support (CCS), The Rotary Club of Townsville Sunrise presented a cheque to Trevor and Tracey who accepted on behalf of CCS.
Here at Childhood Cancer Support every dollar makes a difference and allows us to continue to support families like Trevor and Tracey’s. A big shout out and thank you to the Rotary Club of Townsville Sunrise for this sizeable donation and the response and awareness it has brought from Trevor & Tracey’s story and the importance of our organisation.
