While families receive outstanding medical treatment at the Queensland Children’s Hospital, they need so much more help as they embark on the treatment journey ahead.

Many critical support services for regional and rural families such as family accommodation and transport to and from accommodation to the hospital are not provided by either state or federal government. That’s where Childhood Cancer Support steps in. Since 1975, it has been our mission to provide practical, hands-on support and accommodation for regional children with cancer and their families.

Importantly, Childhood Cancer Support provides a qualified Family Social Worker on-site to provide emotional and practical support to each member of the oncology family. Childhood Cancer Support is your helping hand at a time when you need it most. That’s why we’re here.

Fundraise

You can do anything to fundraise to help support our little champions that are affected by childhood cancer. Whether you like to run, cycle, bake or you’re courageous enough to shave your gorgeous locks – you can do anything your heart desires to be a Heartfelt Hero!

Volunteer

We are always looking for volunteers for a range of different activities, including our annual camp, regular weekly and monthly programs, in the office and around the grounds or at one of our events. You can volunteer as an individual, a community group or a workplace.

Become a monthly donor

As we affectionately refer to them – ‘Heartfelt Supporters’ of Childhood Cancer Support agree to make an ongoing monthly donation, starting at a minimum amount of $10. Your commitment is important to us as it allows us to plan for and respond to current family needs, fund long term projects, increase accommodation availability and employ qualified staff.
