At the Annual General Meeting of Childhood Cancer Support held on 3 December 2022, our long-standing President, Trevor Rethamel, retired from this role after 7 years leading the organisation. Trevor has been an outstanding advocate for our organisation and worked hard, alongside Committee Members and staff, to ensure that Childhood Cancer Support is in a strong and viable position for the future of this organisation. As his family have utilised the support services of Childhood Cancer Support in the past, Trevor was very well placed to know exactly what families needed in times of crisis when their child is diagnosed with cancer.

We thank Trevor for his voluntary service to Childhood Cancer Support and he will certainly be missed. However, we have not lost Trevor completely as he continues to be our Townsville Ambassador alongside his wife Tracey.

1 We are pleased to announce that Bert Pulman has been elected as the new President of Childhood Cancer Support by the members at the Annual General Meeting. Bert is very honoured to take on this important role and will continue to ensure that this organisation will continue to be a solid and supportive environment for all paediatric oncology families that require our services. He is well supported by his fellow Committee Members and Staff and looks forward to making a huge contribution in the coming years.
