A Family Christmas
Christmas is a special time for most of us, but for families who have children with cancer, it can be a daunting holiday. Childhood Cancer is an unfortunate reality for the families living at Childhood Cancer Support, and when family and friends reside more than an hour away, the financial and emotional stress can turn this special time into another worry.
It is for this reason that Childhood Cancer Support is committed to offering a living environment to these families that brings them laughter and joy, and lessens the financial stress that can arise around Christmas time.
This Christmas you can enjoy and be a part of the gift of giving through the Childhood Cancer Support Christmas Appeal.
Each year Childhood Cancer Support invites Santa to the Annual Family Christmas Party where he hands out gifts to paediatric oncology families (patient and siblings). The day is full of fun, laughter, games and more and provides an environment where families can celebrate with their loved ones.
Please join us in supporting families this Christmas through the Childhood Cancer Support Christmas Appeal. The appeal runs from 25th October – 23rd November 2017.
Drop off point:
Gifts must be in by the 23rd November in order for Childhood Cancer Support to get the gifts to Santa on time to be labelled and wrapped. The gifts will then be handed out by Santa at the Childhood Cancer Support Family Christmas Party on the 2nd December.
If you would like to support but don’t have time to hit the shops, no problem! Please visit our ‘Make A Donation’ button below where all donations over $2 are tax-deductible. You can nominated your funds to go directly to the Family Christmas Party where funds raised will contribute to gifts, food, decorations and entertainment.
