Talk Like A Pirate Day
What is Talk Like a Pirate Day?
Each year on 19th September, people around the nation loosen their ties, lose the school/work uniform and get ready to Talk Like a Pirate!
Talk Like a Pirate Day™ is an opportunity to polish ye hook and say “AHOY there, me hearties” to all ye mateys, school crew and work mates. It is also the official fundraising and awareness day of childhood cancer in Australia for Childhood Cancer Support.
This event keeps it simple: the day is all about dressing up and having fun. Talk Like a Pirate Day™ is a great fundraising event for schools, community groups, workplaces and individuals. We leave how you want to enjoy the day entirely up to you, and give you some handy fundraising hints to get you started. However, there are a number of state-wide events that we encourage you to get involved in!
Can you help us reach our fundraising goal for 2017?
